  • I know what rick is sayingh here,

I am from WA and 3 generations of my family has been stolen.

My great great grandfather was in the mogumber mission, and my grandparents were in the New Nocia mission and my dad was in Tarden Mission!

So the fact that Mister Rudd had the courage to stand up and say sorry means the world to me and my family.

  • @Soundgarden8497 I'm not sure why you're so upset over the apology, you can not speak about it really as it hasn't effected you in any way. The suffering that they went through is indescribable and has had a lasting impact in the indigenous culture. How exactly is is it "ruining evolution"? Is it not beneficial to everyone to strive for equality and peace? Without call you a racist, you seen to posses some of the qualities.

  • @jimbo232323 equality? lol abos and islanders get more then fucking white people. This country has turned to shit and its because of spastics like you. maybe you should pay everyones taxes so the dirty paint sniffing coons can keep bludging off the dole.

  • It`s about time the indigenous people realised that without the protection of the christian peoples that were SENT here by the english crown they would have been slaughtered by the Japenese decades ago......and still might be by the chinese in the future.

  • @Soundgarden8497 i know that you're an ignorant piece of shit that wouldn't know the meaning of equality. people like you make the world worse of. go die in a hole. this is just the beginning.

  • @jimbo232323 you dont know anything about me dickhead so fuck you with your assumptions. end of conversation.

  • @jimbo232323 that's life, the strong and dominant will rule eventually but humanity is fucking with this reality, and this is ruining evolution which is bringing EVERYONE down in everything in everyway. people think everything in life can be all pretty and absolutely fair to everyone, but nature doesn't work that way, the laws of nature apply to the most "sophisticated and cultured" parts of society just as much as it did and does to native aboriginals. life is unfair, get over it.

  • @Soundgarden8497 a concept that i've learnt at law school is that of substantive equality; which in a nutshell is treating others differently in order to achieve equality. this is different from formal equality; that by treating everyone the same will achieve equality. i can see what you mean and understand your point, however it was the british/australians that came to the land after the aboriginals were here, and enforced their law onto them, not recognizing their traditonal customary law.

  • @Chuckiecheese1990 The recognition of the past allows a greater sense of belonging. How can is be superfluous if you're getting a first hand experience from an Indigenous Australian in the video as well as others commenting.

  • @peterjones771 idiot.

  • I would like an elaboration on how an apology will allow the teenagers to determine where they have come from. What extra information will it provide in this sense? Sounds like superfluous reporting.
