  • The suits called "bunad" vary all over the coyntry! They are made of wool, are lots of work to make, handsewn and embroidered, therefore expensive, and also hot on a sunny day !

  • On Norway's constitutional day, the 17th of May, most people, that is those who have one, and most do, put them on!

  • its is to fantadtic to see pretty norwegian women in such sparkling glorious attire.the men are handsome as well.

  • Each 17th of May, its too beautiful, I think I'm dreaming. It is finally springtime, the sun is back.no more cold snow. the leaves are bright green and new on the birchs, sky is blue and the sun is out hopefully p you seee lots of red white and blue flags and happy faces....i loove it.

  • We must have the greatest traditional clothing in the world here in Norway. Its called "bunad" and comes in many sorts from all over the country.
