I have a feeling that St Peter was buried in rome instead to the tomb in the mount of olives. Some one with such a great ministry would have had the nick name St Peter on his casket along with reg name. The great jewish historian joesephues would have certainly would have mentioned it in the history books.Of course the protistant would like that to be true to take the power away from Rome and reinforce there beliefs

I have all the official reports on the find and statements from the not part of the Vatican, reports and studies of the bones. They know they have found Peter in the same way as they know they have found other well known Egyptian mummies. Since this find Saint Paul has been found. I do remember the cries, np proof Paul ever went to Rome. They dont say that anymore.

The burden of proof that 'these bones are Peter' is on he who claims this. Prove it. You cannot, for the simple reason that there is NO positive evidence to present as rational proof. "I say so' does not work. Nor does any assertion of 'tradition' work.

The claim is based solely on hearsay; thus it remains alleged, not factual.

@brennansia 1) as there is NO DNA evidence, nor is there a valid historical reference positively identifying these particular bones as being Peter's...thus there is NO evidence they are his. End of story.

2) Josef Ratzinger is not Jesus Christ. Nor was any pope of the past.

3) Perhaps you should try going to WalMart & buying some history......as the history of the Vatican is littered with innocent blood, as Jesus foretold.

#2. There is NO proof AGAINST these bones belonging to Peter. They have stood every test so far.

#3. I challenge you to find anything that Ratzinger has ever said or written that goes against the core of the Gospel. How can Lucifer encourage people to enter into friendship with Jesus Christ?

@krizzia1000 Factually, the Vatican is NOT guided by the Holy Spirit. For the simple & painfully obvious reason that is & its Administrators are DEAF to Him. 1700 years of murder, torture, plunder, pillage, conquest& incredible carnage...which they have DARED to do 'in the Name of God'...are proof.

There is NO proof that the remains are of Peter. The core of the Gospel is the true core of the Catholic Faith....which neither Ratzinger nor his Luciferian cronies believe in.

@19lfm12 The most important is we have faith and love of God. But if we believe on those words written on the bible because of ultimate proof we cannot that is why some became atheist.  We believe because those who said so are from the Catholic Church authorities and the this Church is being guided by the Spirit of Christ that we believed because He said so and we had believed in.
