dont say that, if it wasnt for dragonforce getting powermetal popular overhere in america, i would have never discovered dragonland or much of scandinavian metal.

I respect your opinion, but no matters the years that Dragonfoces has playing; the think is the talent, and Dragonland has more talent: The concerts sounds better than the album records. Dragonforce cheats at the studio, thats why they don't sound good at the concerts. But thats a choice for tastes on music.

@HyrkanianBlade ya, you still think im talking about 2007 grasspop df. go to a show and then tell me they are sub par players now. they have been having spot on shows since 2009, that was the year of change they had, watch their documentary show, they talk all about it.

i will say the new singer's voice does not work for zp's songs at all, and it doesnt sound good now when they play old stuff, the voices are too different. the new tracks they make around his vocal range are great though.

@HyrkanianBlade you must be ignorant, and still think 2007 grasspop is the Df im talking about. there is a lot more to being a good live band than just playing well, you need to be just as good performers as you are musicians, and few bands rival the show that DF can put on.

are they the best musicians? of course not, do they put on an amazing show? absolutely.

ive seen more than enough shows in more than enough genres to know they do a high end performance.

@xDiego8390x i would choose dragonland but to say df sucks is ignorant. they havent sucked since 07. anything past that they are actually one of the better live bands out there with a much higher stage production level and presence than dragonland. i saw them both in 07 and 09 and the difference in their performance was amazing.

@EnslaveTheEmos no shit its a continent, its a matter of reference. and yes, DF penetrated America. power metal is an unknown genre here, but everyone knows DF, because of guitar hero . if i play a song that was made 8 years before a DF song, everyone will say "hey, sounds like DF". they dont know what the genre is, they think DF is it.

DF is only the gateway for americans to discovery powermetal through. since they tour here often while many scandinavian groups dont

@antiregayton1 if you just say America and dont specify north or south America its safe to say they mean US. but im pretty sure a lot of canadians may have had a similar feeling, and south america has hardly any metal coming out of it. DF was the first of the genre to really penetrate over here and get a lot of us looking more into the genre to discover all the greatness it has.
