Try doing this with your car radar detector. Sure, it's not an hour in the rain, but you get the idea. For more info, go to www.RadarForBikes.com. By Adaptiv Technologies.
It has 360-degree radar detection capability. The general range is about a mile, so if there is a cop operating radar within a mile, the TPX will pick it up.
It won't detect police cars in the near vicinity, unless they have the radar on.
Nice, how does it work exactly? Does it detect radar beams aimed at your bike as well as the camera ones on the side of the road?
Also can it detect police cars in the near vicinity, that would be much more handy knowing if there is a cop car within a couple hundred metres of you.
I have one of these and it is as shown, impervious to rain. Great unit, works effectively, integrates with Autocom easily, saves my bacon frequently :-).
I hear these things are really great. I personally am afraid to get one cause I think it will be my excuse to go another 25mph.
