Postal workers rallied Tuesday across the country in hopes of drawing attention to Democratic-backed legislation supported by their labor unions that they believe would best fix the U.S. Postal Service's financial woes. Push for H.R. 1351
U will have to excuse me as i am a NALC steward and not APWU. I would think your case is a lost cause.Your Job as a casual was temp. The FT clerks/mailhandlers are being sent to other areas filling those open slots. I would think it will be a long time before any new PSE clerks are needed. If i were you i would be applying for TE carrier jobs. The usps still needs temp carriers even with the highering freeze. PLus the NALC plans to convert TEs to PSE after contract negociations.
I used to for USPS as a causal clerk for for five years in Daytona Beach,Fl. I got laid off when the USPS closed the building. I also apply for the PSE clerk position in Port Orange,Fl and others Post office. Can anybody tell me "if the PSE positions are getting look at?" I think apply for 34 PSE positions and no phone call or email.
@camperman2 thanks for your help.
