(SIOUX CITY, IA) Bank of America is helping Siouxland home owners and buyers stay afloat.

Friday morning, the bank donated $5,000 to the Center for Siouxland.

The money will help provide funding for the center's housing counseling program, which is set to see federal budget cuts during the next fiscal year.

The program helps Siouxland homeowners and buyers during all steps of the process, from beginning to end.

"Once they're in their house, how do you maintain it? How do you keep up on the payments? How do you do general maintenance? You know, what are those types of things? So, we're able to provide all of that," says Jonette Spurlock, Vice President of Client Trust for the Center for Siouxland.
