Tech Directing Final: Vader's Birth

This was my final for technical directing at Pittsburgh Filmmakers in 2008. We had to pick a scene, storyboard it, draw a diagram with all the camera positions, and recreate it, shot for shot. Our prof didn't expect us to use costumes or lighting, but when I decided to shoot the scene from Episode 3, I knew it wouldn't be as effective if I didn't go all the way. Plus, I am concurrently taking a lighting class, and I wanted to use skills I had learned in that class to make a better star wars short.
