Whether you chose your desires or not - you do choose whether or not to go with them over a love for God.

  • 1. You didn't choose your heterosexuality.

    2. God doesn't exist.

    3. Why would someone purposely repress their own sexuality in the name of an imaginary man in the sky?

    4. Why would someone choose a harder life for themselves?

  • @andyandcarl 1) Still have to control my sexual impulses and urges like ANYONE else.

    2) Your opinion - thus - this video is irrelevant to you.

    3) See answer 2

    4) Take the easy way - see how well that works -

  • The only way your argument holds a drop of water is if you ALSO look at men, lust after them, and “choose” to walk away from that to be exclusively with women.

If being straight is a choice, tell me at what point you sat down and decided. When exactly did you think, “I could fuck men or women… I’m going with women because even though I’m perfectly willing and able to fuck men, God wants me to poke a chick.” The only way it is a choice is if you’re capable in mind and heart of fucking a man.

  • @YouAreNotCool How do you figure? Homosexuals aren't attracted to women (and walked away from them) - are they? The point is - regardless of our inner desires, what we do with them is a choice. I choose not to (attempt to) sleep with every woman I desire despite the fact that I might feel lust towards them. In that sense - you don't see the parallel?

  • Also...how is a choice like that possible realsitically? Ok its possible but...let me see...choose between loving something i cannot see ( God) lets say u believe in God but still...choosing between someone u cant see, feel, touch or hear for real and someone that u can...hmmm whos gonna win??

  • @CrocoSharky depends - some can see, hear, touch and feel the Lord... for real. Its a gift from God I suppose.

  • You don't make an argument here for homosexuality being a choice. All you're saying is that men who are homosexual can and should choose not to act on the way they are. The state of homosexuality isn't the same as the acts associated with it. Your argument doesn't preclude homosexuality from being part of somebody's nature. A dog behaving like a cat is still a dog. Also although I respect the religious premise for what you're saying, religion prevents this from being universally applicable.

  • @chritoferL CONT: Like homosexuals they didn't choose what gets the mr. torpedo area up and firing. SCIENCE has even proven that homosexuality isn't a choice. I will be sending these article to your inbox.

  • @christoferL Let me explain something to you, I have a couple of fetishes. These things turn me on, now while I do admit they are bizarre it just so happens to be the only 2 things that women can do for me to turn me on. See where I'm going here? I didn't choose these 2 fetishes, just like I didn't choose my heterosexuality. This is the way I was born.

  • @christoferL For your argument to work, you’d have to be sexually attracted to both men and women (end even then you’re probably just Bi), and you would have had to make a conscious decision at some point in your life to pursue heterosexuality.

    So my questions are:

    1) Are you sexually attracted to men?

    2) When in life did you choose heterosexuality?

    3) Do you believe gays are incapable of discriminating who they will sleep with?

  • @christoferL You’re confusing sexual orientation with free will.

You can discriminate against what women you will and will not sleep with, but that doesn’t make you straight – it makes you discriminating. A gay man can choose not to have sex with men, but that doesn’t make him straight – it makes him celibate. Your implication also suggests that gays do not discriminate whom they sleep with.

  • Well said my friend!!!!!
