  • I think we all get to the point of not liking or wanting to do Gongyo. It is at those times we recognize that is just the 3 obstacles and 4 devils at play. So I will recommit to myself to sit down for just 5 minutes and do gongyo and daimoku. Once I reach the 5 minutes I 'miraculously' want to do 5 or more minutes. I hope this helps.

  • thank you for sharing this. I too have not wanted to do Gongyo but I tend to just get up and daimoku. It does feel wonderful afterwards and I feel enlightened.

  • for those who feel that they are lacking in the areas of doing gongyo and daimoku, i leave you with six profound words in regard to whatever you need in your life. and those six words are "HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?"
