And it is pretty likely that the HALOS are a homage to sonic because Bayonetta is packed with tons of homages to Sega, from afterburner to fantasy zone as well homages to other clover/capcom games...

Sorry linkstrikesback not everyone hates - thats a broad generalization. I actually like the wherehog sections and find it to be a pretty decent brawler. THere are other folks out there who like it too, not sure what you are trying to prove with your comment.

They're Halos, because you're killing angels. I will admit they do look like the rings from Sonic though. But they aren't.
