"Not Yet Time."

Cloud... he's caught in between life and his own self-destruction.
On the one hand, he could end it all here. He could remain in this light, so pure and calm.
He could sleep on and lose the hurt, and forget his mistakes.
Because who could bother looking out for him, when he can't even look after himself?

But Ven and Namine--his angels--they won't let him be weak.
They pull on his heart until he awakens.

"Cloud... it's not yet time," Namine whispers. "Your friends are on the other side, waiting for you. Won't you go back to them?"

"I'm not fit to help anyone..."

"... silly. They are your light, as you are theirs. So pick yourself up and return."

And he wakes up.

Almost like if he's been dreaming everything.

The angels, and their soft touches. Their words and love. And as soon as he considers thinking it was all in his head, Cloud turns and finds THEM there.

Their hearts call out to him, and it's as if Cloud is their only reason to smile.
Zack rolls his eyes happily at the scene, and Kairi smiles as she lets Cloud become all her eyes will take in.

And as Cloud reaches for her, and just as they fingertips touch, he swears he can feel those same blonde angels, HIS angels, smiling down on him.
And they reassure him that he does indeed have purpose, and so long as the three friends are together, it will not yet be time.
