The Pace Report: Danilo Perez: "21st Century Dizzy"

Jazz pianist and bandleader Danilo Perez performs music live from The Jazz Standard from his new project "The Things To Come: 21st Century Dizzy."

Journalist and interviewer Brian Pace of The Pace Report conducts a one on one interview with Danilo and members of his group including bassist Ben Street and Percussionist Jamey Haddad.

Perez created this project a tribute to the late Dizzy Gillispie whom he had to play with and was his mentor up until his death.
