FFVIII isn't a bearish game, it's a power bottom twink-y game. :)

I hated Laguna! I could never wait for his scenes to be over.

I have no clue. Engrish punctuation?

The lines in the opening sequence are how Squall finds his way back after they compress time and defeat Ultimecia.

That makes sense. But why is waiting in quotation marks? Heh heh.

And yeah I've tried to play this game many times, and I can't seem to like it. The characters are so wooden..I think they made the mistake of following Squall I seriously think Laguna was a much more interesting character to follow.

I agree with that, for sure. Laguna should have been much more of the game, because him, Kiros, and Ward all seem to have a real passion for what they're doing. They're wry, funny, sardonic, all of which makes more pleasant protagonists, at least from our western viewpoint. Moody and glum doesn't.
Honestly, though, Cloud had the same problem. If you go back and play FFVII, he has a very similar attitude to Squall's.

Ward is my favorite character in a FF..Honestly he is totally a bear, granted he is beardless (Though he does have one when he's a minister in the megacity)

I was sad to realize you only get to play as him a handful of times, and he never gets a side story or cutscene to himself, really.
