Sydney Protests Against Israel (Flotilla Raid)

After a successful protest last Tuesday of over 4,000 people- Sydney,Australia was at it again today with another protest against the Israeli (defence force) attack on the Flotilla Aid boat headed for Gaza. Here are some facts:

* Israel denies they are allies of Turkey
* 9 deceased were riddled with 30+ bullets (Most shot 3-4 times average)
*19 year old American Turk shot once in chest, 3 times in the head
*Journalists from around the world detained and injured.
* Israel raided in International waters, following other aid boats at the moment.
*Israel denies there is a humanitarian crisis in Gaza
*USA fails to make a strong condemnation of this attack
*Israel will be allowed to make their own "independant" enquiry of the raid
*Sweden will not accept any Israeli shipping to protest against the attack.

I took part in this protest because i am against injustice, it doesn't matter who it is against. I feel that since other nations were involved in this attack - voices will be clearer and louder- the same laws apply for ALL nations- no exceptions!
