My 40GB Ps3 draws in discs but makes a grinding noise and won't read them any suggestions on how to fix this? Cechh01 i just replaced the laser then all hell broke loose.

@MBisFrenchy Make sure everything inside the disc drive is put back properly and not loose. Also make sure you put in the correct kind and amount of screws on the disc drive itself.

hey my motor that is supposed to sense the disc is there and pull it in is not workng is there a way to fix it or do I need to buy a new motor or a new ps3?

Help, please. Whenever I insert a disc in, it either wont load or it just freezes. And when its trying to load the disc, I hear this little clicking sound every 2-3 seconds. How do I fix it?

dude... my ps3 can load the disk and all but when the game is going to save itself and such things the whole thing just freeze. u know what it is?

@tromos200 I had that problem Ones, i was using a different Hardrive that was messed up. it had some bad sectors, when i tried to install a game ones it got to the bad sectors inside the HD it would freeze. i fixed it by replacing the HD..

@tromos200 im pretty sure its the harddrive, you can also delete an older save in ur HD to make room for ur new install, but ur ps3 wont write beyond the bad parts/sectors in the HD.
