  • @randomperson331 parallel is when your hip crease is the same height as the patella (top of the knee)

  • Damn u suck. But the bar(just the bar, without that thing for little girls) on the muscle and not on your bone or something. Putting the bar there would hurt with a big weight, it is just unhealthy.

    And then there is no reason to do half squats in the smith machine. Free full squats are better.

  • a lot of people consider the parallel squat to be a half squat cuz you are going half way to atg, which is what is considered a full squat
