This whole draft dodger thing was something that Gibson admits was romanticized around him to give him extra counter-culture credibility. In frank honesty he said he was mostly chasing hippie girls. This, I think, would have been the best way to spend time in the late 1960s.

Gibson wasn't even a draft dodger. They never even bothered trying to draft him. Therefore, there was no draft for him to dodge.
