Ultra-low cost Mini-CNC

Playing with the x-axis.
Everything appears to be working nicely now.
Time to finish the firmware.
Total cost of parts so far is around $95. This includes two of the motors and all three TMC222 controllers.

The problem with TMC222 is they are independant and run on I2C. This makes em useless for cooperating when you want to move multiple axis at the same time in a controlled manner.

There is only a limited ammount of speed steps available in the tmc222 so only certain angles of motion will be possible when controlling multiple motors.

Using step/dir based controllers is really highly recommended for a cnc so that each motor can be fully controlled and all the drivers synched.

I'm interested in your project. Could you give me more informations about tmc222 controlers? schamatics etc... I made cnc router and now I'm thinking about controllers. I have tmc222 chips and I dont know how to use if programs using dir/step outputs. thx for help
