  • yaleappliance, but they are also are 3 times as expensive and break down ten times as much as conventional front loader. Customer service from many of the manufacturers of these machines absolutely stinks as well. After seeing and learning about the maintenance nightmares of front load washers that are sold in America, I couldn't be happier that I'm wasting so much water with my conventional top loader. At least it does the job at hasn't broken in 10 years.

  • @BlogShag The first generation of front loaders especially the Maytag Neptune soured alot of people, and it is also true service stinks in the appliance industry in general. However, the newer machines are a drastic improvement over the originals. We have always transcended industry problems by offering our own service. Remember, the difference is profound between front and top loads. It is water, but also energy, faster spin with 50% greater capacity

  • This dry and washer suck! Wait until you get the E68 error! STAY AWAY! Run away as fast as you can!

  • @yaleappliance . However the newer machines have drastically improved? What are you smoking? Have you seen all the complaints and the pending class action lawsuit against the Kenmore Oasis? The Whirlpool Duet and Frigidaire models are 7 year itch maintenance nightmares or FAILURES waitin' to happen.

Please explain to me why someone should pay $1000 for a machne that lasts five years and needs maintenance every year. Conventional top loaders never give these problems.

  • @DominikDrinkhahn , That's because Europeans actually read the instruction manual. LOL! That's too much to ask of Americans. Anyone complaining about mold problems with their front loader hasn't read the instruction manual.

  • @yourredcomrade717

direct drive DC motor unit, like the samsungs and certain whirlpools, all the way. No more bearing problems and far more dependable.

  • @tallboyyyy its true. the old maytags run till they completely rust out. if it does go. get a wp toploader that uses a drive coupling. their reliablity puts these 1200 dollar pieces of shit to shame. most wp still last 20 years. the new maytag top loaders are crap and so is ge.

  • @breakspirit im in appliance repair. front load washers are neat. but id rather have my whirlpool top loader. for one thing, the controlboards and motor regulators go all the time on these things and cost about 100 dollars just for the part. and if that doesnt turn you off. the average family of 5 gets little more than 7 years because the main bearing wears out. never seen one last longer than ten.

so tell me, is all that dough really worth a few bottles of detergent and a cheaper water bill?

  • @TheAppliancePro And that scares the hell out of me!
