  • Very nice shop and projects there!

By chance do you still remember the price of the castings for the Docksider?

  • @Rockinrailroader765 I don't have any castings for sale for the B&O Docksider, sorry...

  • Nice and smooth. Was this a Lester Friends? Are you going to make a correct rivet count firebox cover sheet?

  • Thanks, It started out as a Friends kit, but I replaced most of the castings with fabrications.. I think of the 50 or so castings I had, I'm only using about 15 of them..

Yes, I will do a firebox wrapper, with all the rivets..

  • Fantastic loco,and what a superb workshop,I'd love a workshop like that in a basement,especially with a Bridgport and a decent lathe,maybe oneday.............

I've got enough tools and equipment to do all my projects and more, just lacking space!!

  • Thanks for all the nice words.... It's been a labor of love making this thing, and I hope to have it finished soon... John

  • would you be willing to share the plans for the docksider so I could scale them for 1 inch. I plan to scratch build the loco.

  • @jjh122 So I assume those are of your own.I was guessing they were Railroad Supply castings.

  • I just happened upon your video, never seen anything quite like this before. I wished I had the patients to do something like that. My hats off to you.

  • Compliments on the excellent locos and a superb workshop, wish my setup had that much room around it!! Keep up the excellent work!!
