Paragliding Helicopter or Holy Crap 21 april 2010 Luis "Mickey" Fonseca

Going for a Helico, not enough parachutal and failed to brake enough on the inside letting the glider overshoot, too hard on the brakes stopping the glider but I made a 360' twist locking both my brakelines forcing me to drop both brakes and grab the brakeline above the twist to stop it or throw the rescue.

Gracie! Well it was ok this time, but in Öludeniz - Turkey I was not horizontal in my harness when the twists happend and it was not so ok :( I'm not sure if the link works, but look for "MickeyTaa2 Slaps back at Mickey" I think it is very important to practice mentally first :)

@MadMickeyMouse The same happend to me two days ago for a McTwist gone wrong. Same as for you the controls were locked and I had to grab over the twist. But opposite to you I first recovered straight flight and afterwards untwisted myself. What do you think makes you lose the least height?

Hi again. My wing makes a series wingovers, and then enters a violent spiral. When I recover I don't have any brakelines to stop the shoot. Luckily I made it just in time and no frontal :D
