My 6 month old puppy Marlo looks exactly like her and we got her from a shelter. We're convinced he's a flat coat retriever. but then again, he might be a mix of some sort

My puppy Shadow who is now 6 months looks exactly like Marley. She's even got the white under her bottom lip(looks like a soul patch) and the white on her chest. The only difference is Shadow has white going up the back of her legs but other than that they could be twins.Adorable and I love the narratives.

@buster13U Um you say you have a flat coat retriever called possum and i was wondering whether you could help me i am getting a new puppy pretty soon i am very experianced with dogs liv out in the contry and do lots of walking we do have 4 dogs and a puppy already but this would be my own personal dog not a family dog would you reccomend a flat coat ( i have done lots of research on the breed but need an owners opinion

I agree w/ CheesyBrit...definitely not a pure bred. But lots of Flattie mixed in. The chest stripe does remind me of Border Collie

Nope, she's a shelter pup. She's got a flat-coat... well, coat, but also has some Irish Setter features. We honestly can't figure out what she is exactly. She's almost a year old and weighs about 35 to 40 pounds.
