An early 60s outing from the great singing family. Having enjoyed crossver success on the folk circuit they were starting to add folk material and civil rights themes to their repetoire.
@wkbbrat LOL! Same here. My mom would be pressing my sisters' hair and my brother and I would be running around trying to get ready for church. Wow..that was so long ago, :0)
Another rare gem. WOw, this takes me back... every Sunday, back in the day, while we were getting ready for church, or having breakfast , or whatever. The radio was on & this song (and others) was making indelible memories.
when i was a kid i thought i could live forever without ever hearing "will the circle be unbroken". all the kids hated that song and it was played on every and i mean every radio broadcast as a special request. fast forward forty years in record store...find the staples on riverside. buy it and have not stopped playing this music and that was twenty years ago! thanks for helping keep this music alive and fresh for others to discover and appreciate.

I first heard this by Alexis Korner; he loved Pops and the family.

They were great. I sure wish we had singing families like this today. I think most of them are gone now. God bless you Sister D
