Good for you for teaching your son to respect his body. It can be difficult to make that message very clear. I've been through similar experiences myself and I think that it's very possible to learn from those experiences rather than simply being forever damaged by them. But an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Sorry to hear you went through that experience. I've heard that as many as 28% of children are molested by adults. Glad to hear you prosecuted the bastard. Maybe if everybody did the same there'd be less of it going on.

What do these creeps think-that the child will forget it happened or something? That it won't damage the kid? That they'll get away with it? Seems like delusional thinking to me. Do what you have to do to get them off the streets.

@mlmr11 If correction misinformation constitutes an agenda, so be it. You say bullshit on my comments page, chances are, I'm going to correct it. You said religion doesn't kill people. I provided (admittedly sarcastically delivered) examples to disprove your claim.

If fighting against abuses of power, INCLUDING RELIGION, makes me a prisoner of mainstream ideology, I guess liking tea makes me the Queen of England. (ie, your point makes no sense, non sequitor, does not follow, etc.)

However, the religion and religious teachings set me UP to get molested and also made sure the molestation did as much emotional damage as possible. You need to understand that it's not the religion that molested you it's the molester.

You should focus past religion vs atheism because it's not the reason for the ill's but merely the tool.

We are oppressed by an elite who uses these tools to divide us. It's the oldest trick in the book to keep the slaves from overthrowing their masters.

What I'm saying is that an all powerful GOD who cannot or will not protect the people he intentionally created to be his playthings, he is not worthy of ANY human being's worship. I don't think I'm better than most people (though I am better than some.) What I do think is that most people are better than most gods.

A god that will not protect his "sheep" is a crap ass shepherd and a useless god.

@AngieAntiTheist How may cowards do you see in the Army? When a person running in a race and falls down does he quit and give up? No!, he keeps at, or when a husband and wife quit when they work it out no more? Well some do, but they are cowards. If everyone quit everything they did we would have alot of half finsihed buildings and gardens and races out there. You keep runningthe race no matter how hard it get's. Only cowards quit. I hope this stirs you up and get's you motivated .
