Alright, with week 1 in the books, we're set to start week 2!

So, again, heres how it will all run down. Each Tuesday morning, I pick a car and track, record myself doing one lap, and post the video to the NFS YouTube channel. Anyone who wants to beat my time can record their own video and post it as a response to mine. Each weeks challenge will run from Tuesday until the following Monday morning at 9am PST. At that point, well announce three winners one for the best lap time, another for the most-viewed video, and one winner who will be drawn at random from the video responses.

As for the prizes, each weeks three winners will get something from our giant pile of Need for Speed swag, as well as having their videos posted to our website for some added exposure!

For the Week 2 challenge, weve got the following
Car: Audi S3
Track: Brands Hatch Indy

Make sure to check out the Track Guide video for Brands Hatch for some helpful tips on how to master the course. And the Audi S3 was recently one of our cars of the day, so be sure to check it out here.

So, have fun! Just make sure to use the same car and track, keep it to one lap per video, and however you choose to record it, make sure your final time is clearly readable. Post it to your YouTube account and submit it as a response to our Week 2 video. And, there's no limit to the number of video responses you can post, so if you see your best time beaten by someone else, get back in and record a better one. And to make your video easier to track, please remember to tag it with NFS and put a link to needforspeed.com in the videos description.

Hey everyone! I think you might be interested in this! I decided that the name NFS Weekly YouTube Challenge was simply too long, so I want to give it a new name. Instead of just naming it whatever I wanted, I figured we'd let those who make the challenges fun and successful name it what they want! So I've created a quick blog post where you can submit entries to what you think the name of the weekly challenge series should be!

Wow. 13 video responses as of this morning! That's sick. Also, sick? How quickly my time has been DEMOLISHED! Keep it coming, I want to see how low we can get this lap time :)

But remember, even if you aren't able to beat the lap time you can win two other ways: having the most views and by having a little luck (random draw).

Well, the thing is, you can still win even if you don't beat 46 seconds but you submit it as a video response :)

We have three ways to win:

1. Get the best lap time

2. Get the most views on your video

3. Random draw from all the video responses

So be sure to post it even if it doesn't beat 46 seconds!

if u want to show a lap time, try doing like I did . . . u can see the time is real, also, u can see the car that made it by the internal view that shows clearly that its a Shelby GT 500 I used to do that time.

Yep I noticed that, but for all the tears, someone else beat them easily anyway.

Perhaps they just aren't as good as they thought? Yep. That fits.

HEY DREW AT NFS - i hope u realize that if this 'LIEUTANG' cat wins this week that u will upset alot of ppl. pls reconsider his video response as the whole world and thier mom knws that that vud is a fake.

I haven't got my viedo up yet, but I did about 55.6 seconds or something in the stock S3 and about 49.1 seconds in a modyfied S3 I'll try to get them up as soon as possible!!!

I am not contesting ur time 45.01 bc in ur vid u cleary see the time after the replay before u leave the race. howevermy problem with LIEUTANG's vid is that the time shown is after the race has been left. Not to say that he hasnt done that time but it does mean that he could have used any car and not the S3 to post a time of 0.44...

So once again i say that LIEUTANG time is not credible and that NFS cannot have have his time as the fastest bc it he has not proven it. No big ups no gimmicks.

hm. i'm not sure that i'm right understund you. How could i edit my movie on 45.01? Anyway i always can show movie with HUD or with replay inside of car or show it online.

About LIEUTANG - time is not possible for now :) speed on display inside car - slow (in that place shoud be more 15-20kmh). Drive - wrong. So i'm sure he can't go faster then 45 high. Now you should say - he has pefect drive and perfect setup. But trust, me i know everything about NFS.
