  • @drewina Not sure why you're apologising - your observations were 100% correct. Maybe it is for calling Mark a 'ginger fella'? - doesn't matter he is the opposition :-)

  • @BarrowTTC

Good stuff, I wasn't having a go, just an observation. All the best.

  • @drewina The lad in beige is Scotty Crawford and he plays for Barrow, the 'ginger fella' is Mark Smith. Mark is ranked 29 (England Seniors) and Scotty 94. Mark is also a very experienced player.

As you point out, one of Scotty's weaknesses is a short slow serve to the forehand. It is something I used to catch him out with, but he has done a lot of work on his 2nd ball over the last few months and this part of his game is a lot stronger now.

  • Good match up that. Beige shirt needs to flick less. Touch one more ball, as the ginger fella is getting in first every time off his flick. It isn't quick enough or positioned well enough to stop him getting in... When beige got in first, he looked just as good as the ginger fella.

  • I tell you what, Mark Smith was definitely up for this one!
