Ray's quirk shows in the video. All about the artificiality of materialism and modern life. The guy with the curling moustache is meant to be the greast Surrealist artist, Salvador Dali, just as the sets show staircases going nowehre and make comment on plastic versus natural life (hence the plastic doll thrown in the pool by Ray at the end and the real girl going down to the sea.
