I know I already said this at a other video of you but I just have to say it again... this modeling is so well made... He hast a manly face, nose and hairstyle! Yes that would be a great Thor ! And I have to say again: you have the right touch for male characters. I'm tired that many people create people in software too over extreme, old or other mistakes and here I can't find anything wrong. I hope you kept this style until today! and Bonus-points for the great choice of music :-)

substract for the hair is nice!
havent seen that before...
It looks awesome but there are many many many and many easyer ways to make a sculpt. You start with a sphere 3d to make a head neck and shoulders.Instead of that you could yust use ZSphere to get rough shape and then start sculpting! Saves time drasticly! :) Sorry 4 my lame English and again great work! Cheers

of course it is, but I wanted to do a bust from a sphere, not a bust from a shape that already resemble a bust.

make a copy of the subtool (polymesh3D) and use mirror from modify, then insert mesh in geometry tab

i see you used extract for make the initial hair along the face, i got a question, if the extracted object is way more complex, and i wanna render it on maya with mentalray or whatever, how do I handle the resolution of the extracted mesh? thanks and great work!!

You can use ReTopology with ZSpheres and project the details on the new mesh that now has subdivision levels.
