Porsche is launching a new edition of the Boxster, the RS60 Spyder, that is intended to evoke memories of the Type 718 RS60 Spyder endurance racer of the early 1960s. It is slated for U.S. sale starting in the spring following a 2008 New York Auto Show debut in March.

For all you poo poo's, if you don't like Porsche and don't want to own one or don't like the way they drive, or don't think they are as quick as a Mazda 3 (chick-magnet), then don't waste your time putting it or Porsche down. I love my O6 Boxster S, and yes it was expensive, but it's like everything else in life...personal preference. When I buy my Carrera, I'm keeping my Boxster....If you're obsessed with power, buy something else, if you want an experience, own a Porsche.
