Alex Matlari is making good progress. We have stablized his right side in his backswing. A lttle more lower body leverage will help him arc out his swing through the ball. To watch this kid hit drivers in person is something you will not want to forget!!

  • you have to watch one of my teammeber chris hurter, he is turniing professional now. his swingspeed is at 128 mph if he really hits one. also a great looking swing but struggled a bit over the last year...

  • I know Chris really well. He is a great guy. He was always a good friend of Stephan's. Chris got sidetracked... hope he is now making his way. He was always great to watch, tell him I said hello!

  • is the v2 not yellow?...nevertheless over 170 mph ballspeed is phenomenal, never messured mine though.

  • Sorry, I was thinking of his 3 wood and Rescue. I actually ask him today and his driver is 8,5 degrees. The shaft is a Diamana White Board. I don't know how I forgot that, I suggested it a the Titleist Performance Center... He was carrying it 285 yards today in 2 degree Celcius temp, one after another... I feel old!

  • @bruderlong Thanks a lot for posting some of your pupils swings. I would like to see more of the young aspiring players from St-Leon-Rot. Any female talents around? Give us some comments about what makes these particular swings so good.

I would like to know if Stephan Gross needs to change his swing to play tour level or if it is all about evolving further...unfortunately there´s not much chance to see him on the tv, so could you give us an update from time to time, so we can see first hand!

  • Yes, we have a few good ones. Now I am talking about good here... Sophia Popov is very good and Karolin Lampert is a physical specimen. Stephan does not need to change his swing. He just needs to get a little better body rotation. His putting is what needs to get better. He also has to establish a rhythm in life that will help him develop and play the best golf possible on Tour. There are a lot of things that are non-golf related that trip up a lot of young talented players!
