HOR is louder than the eclipse. thus proving that older sirens are better than new ones.
-
now that has to have a distance of at least 2mi , nice mix too .

@Ouranos94 watch?v=g5O9MsGNUY4 I guess it's cause it's the siren that was used in the Silent Hill movie, but I just find that scarier sounding than a Thunderbolt 100t/1003.

@Thewoog34 Oh I missread that, but I do think Eclipses are good replacements for STL-10s. I don't know about STH-10s though. The STL-10 does have a very distinct sound that is the epitome of disaster, but dual toned thunderbolts in my opinion have the scariest attack sequence. But that is all relative to the person.

now are they both tornado warning sirens or do they both have different meanings? i'm confused why the m 10 and the eclipse 8 are together

@justie1220 The Eclipse 8 is used for severe weather and the Sterling M-10 is used for Noon and 6 pm blasts and used for fire calls

@kasm279 this was recorded in Minnesota during the winter which the eclipse 8 collected some snow in the projectors.
