2009 Philippine National Figure Skating Championships (Mericien Venzon, LP)

On July 15, 2009, Mericien Venzon, along with her mother and father, arrived at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. She would spend the following days preparing for one of the biggest competitions of her life—the 2009 Philippine National FIgure Skating Championships. On July 19, Mericien accomplished her goal and became the Philippine National Champion.

Pissed me off hella when the crowd screamed as she was gonna go into her second double axel. That's what probably threw her off and made her fall. I'm mad. Other than that, I love her!

she is really good but when she fell.... it takes alot of work to get that score back up im suprissed she got 1st... but keep ur head held high Mercien... think u have any advice for a lvl.3 figure skater.

The audience is shouting while she's skating!! You can't shout while someone is skating esp. In a competition!! you can clap ur hands after a jump but not shout.. hayy pinoy nga naman..

She's good but she needs to lose weight to appear lighter and be able to jump higher. And my God, the music, where did she get it? Never heard of something like that in figure skating. @ 3:23 it was TV Patrol's theme in the early 90s.
