Help Portrait is a global movement to give portraits away to people who probably could not afford a professional portrait.Giving memories away. Professionals from around the globe are joining in to give back to communities with photographs of families. This project was in Toronto at the Heron Park Community Centre Saturday December 12, 2009. With the help of 16 photographers, assistants, volunteers, and equipment rental companies, this was truly a community of HUMANS giving to eachother.

  • Yea it feels goooood to do this and to have been a part of this!

  • WOW!!!

I am soooo proud to be a member of CAPIC! Although I wasn't there, I feel I share a wee bit in the reflected light of the wonderful work of the CAPIC photographers and all those who volunteered and supported this fantastic event!

  • Yea Bill it was really great. The energy it generated was way beyond anyones expectations. Every one did it for fun. The fun of shooting. And these people shot really really appreciated it, although they had no idea who was shooting them, and how double lucky they were to have professionals of this calibre, it did not matter. It was the community of giving that was so ineffable. John Beebe said it best,
