@rforracing : you are right, not 200 hp ....the ones in the middle east come with a mere 178hp unit which feels underpowered.

i recorded the 0-100 time from the video and it showed 9.8sec!!

not bad actually, btw ova here in the UAE it comes with a 2.4L 178bhp :(

the turbo is not available!!

my bad I meant to say 7.32secs are the results from my 0-60 times, didnt get it on video but be certain the 2011 2.4l 200 hp sonata will do 0-60 in the 7's.

everyone should know these cars are faster. yesterday I saw this video and today went to the dealer and test drove the 2011 sonata 2.4l 200hp just to see the 0-60 times to 60mph, results 7.92 0-60mph. this piece of true info goes to everyone.. I dont know why or how he got 10.3secs from 0-100kmph which is basically 0-60... he had too many people in the car I dont know all I know is that these cars are this slow and the turbo is even faster.

guys i own sonata 2011 as well, i am fully aware that hyundai doesnt really take much pressure from the driver... you really have to go slow with it.. it's not a toyota

@rforracing idk about that, I have the 2.4L and all I put was a short ram Intake and full catback 2.5 magnaflow and I had it dynoed at 212 bhp, so I figure the car had around 190 hp stock? doubt it was 198 like it said online but hey it was close

Hyundai is really making good cars nowadays especially their design..

I've got a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe with a 2.2 CRDi E-VGT with 200 hp and around 430Nm torque... acceleration is just mind blowing! 0-100 km/hr takes only 9,1 seconds topspeed is around 200 kph governed... what only dissapoints me is their steering feedback... it doesn't feel connected to the ground =)
