  • What was that beeping sound?

  • That beeping sound is the variometer audio, it tells how much one climb or sink.

A Tasman vario made in Australia.

  • wie bekommt man die kamera dahin

watch the shadow of the kamera on the fuselage

    at 0:28

  • In Kanada the glider license cover both gliders and motorgliders...................

  • what about that god awful beeping?

    it is the vario tone..........

sweet music to me, because it tells when I climb!

You are like my wife, she freaks out listening to it.

    I understand your feelings!

  • Nothing in the description about the glider make or model, the engine, where you are flying? BIG thumbs down to you...

  • Nice one bladed prop ,, arnt they more efitiant than a regular prop because the blade dosent have turbelent air from the other blade to run into

  • i like the prop with the counterweight

  • So now this is just like conventional airplane? You've introduced fuel tanks, valves, pumps, fuel lines, etc..

  • @shinco52 having a bit more weight in a glider surprisingly doesn't affect flight too much, just makes you go a bit faster, which can actually help you travel further. The blade is probably composite, so the counterweight is probably no more than a kg or two.

  • I think it is a full prop that splits in half and folds once stopped, correct?

  • @THEMAN080 It is single blade to allow it to fold into the fuselage. It would be ballanced by a counterweight on the opposite site of the drive shaft. put a nail in one end of a straw and find the center of gravity. thats how that would work.. but just a guess dont quote me.

  • Is there any other advantage of using a single bladed prop, other than to save space in the fuselage? Seems the counterweight needed to make it work is unnecessary weight especially for a glider.

  • how you fixed the camera? and sorry for my english:D
