  • do you have any suggestions for fishing small gold course ponds? i have caught bass 6lb and larger out of the ponds, but they seem to be very low in activity around this time of year and i need to get em turned on. any help?

  • @TheToxiicgogglezz It’s all got to do with water temperature so use jerk baits worked slowly. Also try chatter baits and finesse worms like a shake head. Don’t forget the Rat-L-Trap. The good part is they should warm quickly after a couple of days of sunshine – key in on the clearest water available.

  • what are your rod specs for flipping and pitching.

  • @nosredna1624 Sorry I missed your comment, the three rods I use for flipping and pitching are - Docks and close quarter work 7-foot XHeavy micro guide. For bushes and heavy wood cover I use 8-foot XXheavy Micro Guide and for braided line situations and veg. 7'9" Heavy professional grade. All of these are Carrot Stix.

  • looks liken Lake of Egypt or around southern Illinois.

  • @jdray93 Close - it's Crab Orchard.
