@SwtAznQt you can use the heat (thermal) protector spray from GHD (the golden bottle one), it does not smell at all. Try it, you won't regret it. :) Source: my own experience ! Good luck.

My hair only curl when I used GHD.

Can I do this and get at least ALMOST the same results if I don't use a hairspray as I'm EXTREMELY sensitive to the strong smells that's used in most hairsprays?

i bought both the protection and creation original ghd sprays. The ghd heat protection spray is to protect your hair from the heat emitting from the styler and the creation spray is used to create curls.. You do it before too.

GHD are the best product for hair styling. They are a bit xpensive but if you keep it well it will last you many many years. The best thing is that it really takes little time to obtain the same result you would have in a salon spending much more money. GHD is absolutely the best.
