As a music genre, late 70's disco sucked just like the badges said even back then. However there were a few key numbers that we're classic and still sound great like this gem from A Taste of Honey. And I don't get the sexual politics thing cause I don't recall that it was an issue then.

@cavernafumace and boy how does she plays it. As a bassist/singer myself, I'm amazed.

songs like this, blow out the songs that are made today by a landslide

@kja427 it don't piss me off!! IMO some of the best jams were by women. Guys don't don't feel as strong and sexual admitting it, I guess. Pooooo. To me listening to chicks like this make feel feel more manly and beside, women know guys who reject it are really being insecure... kinda like men who drive ferraris ;)

THEY ARE FIERCE ON THE GUITARS... WOMEN WERE VERY WELL ROUNDED THEN... THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULDN'T DO....

When she says 'listen to my bass', it's really HER bass!
i never thought she was the singer and bass player until watching this video.

Why in the hell are women of this calibre of talent percieved as threatening to the men of The Music Industry? A Tasste Of Honey, I believe, suffered the same sexism in The 70's that The GO-GOS and The BANGLES suffered in The 80's. This is pissing me off! I'm a man, and I'm saying this>
Played live, and sounds just like the original recording...shows no "over-production" when real talent is in the studio!
