About 3 months ago a close friend of mine commited suicude. He was a freshman in highschool, and one of the happiest souls I ever knew. I dont know why it happened, no one saw it coming. But it was the saddest thing I have ever been through, and I still choke up whenever I hear his name. I know I wont be able to forget him, and I'll always have a place in my heart for him and his amazing and so welcoming family. I miss him so much.

i see myself there in that song as that person only seeing dark. In this world in which nobody cares.

I care. The light is there just as much as the dark. If you can not see it with your own eyes right now, ask for help seeing it or get out a surround yourself with people who can see it. Let it into your heart. Your heart wants to feel it. And TRUST this: If you have the ability to feel so deeply that you are this down, then you also have the ability to feel the opposite with the same intensity, and if you push through, you will a blessing to us all.

I understand how you felt i have struggled with depression for years without noticing the fatal signs. I soon became suicidal and attempted to kill myself and the lord saved me. Then he reveled to me a dark secret from my past, my uncle did something terrible to me and i just sank back down. the lord is now mending my heart and i pray he brings the same power over what you the devil is doing to your life for it is not the lord just remember that

i just lots a good friend to herion overdose. I dont know why he was messing with that crap. but he was a friend and fellow guitar player and a very good one and this song talking about shining on the stage and in my mind he was frozen 17 yr old, that hit me. we just buried him thursday. I watched as his 8 yr old daughter read a letter she wrote her daddy.

you did a awesome job on this video, I have lost a nephew to suicide and it is always painful, one never knows what some one has going through there mind and the burdens they carry. we can only pray that we some how reach them before it is to late. always tell that special some one you love them, for you never know if it will be the last time you see them. some day maybe not here there will be peace and love and no more suffering.
