Risking the future of disabled kids with NY Gov. Cuomo's budget cuts.

Gov. Cuomo wants to slash state funding to schools for the blind, deaf and severely disabled -- and he's asking local school districts to pick up the tab for over 1500 blind, deaf and physically disabled students. His proposed budget eliminates all direct funding to 11 schools serving such children - including The New York Institute for Special Education and 10 other schools of the 4201 Association.
