@islamnorway Who decides which doctor is giving the wrong diagnosis and which is giving the right diagnosis? Scholars? What if the scholars that are deciding are the ones giving the wrong diagnosis? It's a risky business trusting other human beings. If humans were so trust worthy, the torah and the bible would never have been distorted, they were, because humans are weak and make mistakes no matter how knowledgeable they are. Trust yourself, or you might end up in a bad place.

The dangers of not acting on your own understanding! You become easily controlled by people that may not even be Muslims, in doing things that are totally against Islam because they tell you they are Muslims with great knowledge. If you're going to burn in hell, isn't it better you burn under your own mistakes, rather than someone else's?

We cant follow any random person, we can only follow those scholars that are known for their piety and wast knowledge of Islam, and whose chain of knowledge reach all theway up to Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
Its like when you are sick you go to a quallified doctor and accept the diagnosis he give you. But if its known about a doctor that he gives wrong diagnosis, then you dont go to him, but to another who is known for giving right diagnosis.
