Jazz icons Frank Jackson and Larry Vuckovich jam it out at the legendary oceanfront live music club, the Douglas Beach House, home of the Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society, in Half Moon Bay, Ca. Accompanied by veteran master drummer Akira Tana and bassist Al Obidinski, Frank sings and scats a swinging version of Dearly Beloved and delivers a Smooth Cool version of "The Talk of the Town". Put on your Toe Tapping shoes Honey, cause Baby, "It Don't Get No Better Than That".
Frank Jackson started his career in the 1940's in the San Francisco Fillmore Jazz District, and has played with Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Chet Baker, John Coltrane, Ben Webster, Charlie "Bird" Parker, Dexter Gordon, Cal Tjader, Frank Foster and Ruth Brown. Frank is an accomplished interpreter of the Great American Songbook. Frank Jackson is a jazz Icon, and has for over 6 decades been serving up his impeccable, elegant piano style, smooth warm vocals and unique phrasing.
