@oloompop Oh, please no bashing! Mari is the resident incarnation of willpower, mady by the original creators with the mission of "destroying old EVA" as Sadomoto put it. She is badass, incredibly determined, nice and a person that tries everything before giving up.

@KendrixTermina mari is fun but generaly shes very cliche, this was done on purpose ofcourse, by comparison rei is so much more complex and interesting....

Rei is my 3rd favourite Character after Kaworu and Mari, which was a hard choice since all of them are so awesome. I really love her relationship with Shinji and how she brings out the best in him. And she's so pure and fascinating.
