The Jay Tamkin Band are a rock blues band from Torquay who have toured the UK, Europe The US. Jay Tamkin's influences include, Stevie Ray Vaughan Walter Trout and Jimi Hendrix.Jay learnt his craft with Devon Youth Jazz , Jools Hollands, Dennis Rollins etc.The band have opened for Ian Parker, Ian Siegal, Nine Below Zero, Sherman Robertson,Roy Ayers,Danny Bryant,Stan Webb's Chicken Shack,etc.
