HAITIANS IN MIAMI PROTEST U.S. IMMIGRATION POLICY. UNLIKE CUBANS, WHO ARE GENERALLY ALLOWED TO STAY ONCE THEY REACHED U.S. SOIL DUE TO THE "WET-FOOT, DRY-FOOT" POLICY, MOST HAITIANS WHO ILLEGALLY MAKE IT TO THE U.S. ARE SENT BACK.

Montreal in the 70's were predominantly black slum dwellers and the majority were Haitian. Does anyone in their right mind think that anything is going to change? There is no forethought involved. If the majority of the Haitian newcomers are uneducated dirt farmers and couldn't fend for themselves, what in the name of all that is reasonable are they going to do in a large city. The only growth that will come out of this will be in crime and of course, larger slums.

@runfayalife I live in north Miami too and I can relate. The problem here is that OUR Liberal leaders have succesfully tricked themselves into believing that other nations are poor because of the leaders, few resources, etc.

Although that may have some truth to it, but its not the whole story. Nations are poor because of the race of the people and the attitude that comes with it... and the more third world trash we let in, the more third world we will become...
