Banks is safe, quality power, that is why you pay more. You pay for research. WIth all the emissions standards coming out over the next few years you will wish you would have gone with Banks. Other brands might be cheaper and/or make more power, but with Banks you have power and longevity. You won't find much, if any, Banks on sled pullers or drag racers, it's not intended for that. It is for those who want awesome, safe, legal, all the time driving, hauling, pulling, and street racing power.
@alexanderocks ya it's a 6 but not a V6...it's a straight 6 there's a big difference.....the straight 6 is a very popular engine set up for towing rigs...it provides lots of power & torque while producing great fuel economy. this truck probably gets 23-ish mpg highway. Pretty much all the semi's and big rigs you'll see hauling down the road are also straight 6 engines so that just goes to show how much power that engine set up can produce.
lol. so i can run software programs using a laptop on tuner cars to adjust them on the fly and moniter what they are doing but i cannot put one on a computer controlled cummins?
No, not a d-max guy. But there is nothing for the Dodges that give you the ability that EFI gives the D-Max's. The guys for EFI Live have something in the works for us Dodge guys but nothing yet. There has been talk from other companies that want to do this but it just does not exist at the moment. You buddy is jerking your chain or is confusing a PMT or Black Maxx as if it was similar to EFILive
i have this feeling your a d max guy. and if you have nothing nice to say do not say anything at all. this guy spent hard earned money on what he felt was the best choice. plus with the new smog laws, all of banks stuff is carb legal. and smokeless power is the 6's and a new engine that is reving to 7000 without coming apart. i do not know anyone else doing that.
yes. i have seen and used efi live. i never said efi live is a computer program. i said that its ability to adjust paramitters is the same concept of the software this guy uses to adjust the paramiters on his dodge.
@dieselpower0526 Or.... you could just drive a rig from before 1975 and not have to worry about emissions anyways! Cheers!

@alexanderocks Better fuel efficiency, and 6 bigger pistons inline gives you more torque than 8 smaller ones in V design.
