Murphy's law is an attitude that you take when conducting manned flight test. So you sweat the details to make sure you have backups to your backups, you have tested items to well outside the expected operating limits, and then you have well trained people who can quickly select from the various emergency procedures, and understand how different faults interact. Then you can pass your flight test readiness review, which should be tougher than any real event in flight test.
