Here are the original commercial breaks as they aired during the debut episode of the Partridge Family. The episode titled "What? And Get Out of Showbusiness?" originally aired on 9/25/70. It's amazing to see how few commercials aired during a half hour show almost 40 years ago! Look for Paul Sorvino in the Score Natural commercial as well as Tony Lo Bianco (his is the first picture they show on the wall).
@definitedoll In response to your question, that song was "Let the Good Times In." A version of that particular tune was featured on the album "Come On Get Happy: The Very Best Of The Partridge Family."

It's interesting that General Mills bought two spots for Cheerios--Kellogg's subsequently became a main sponsor and the cast did commercial for Rice Krispies.

I didn't like the whole put-down attitude of that Score Natural commercial; that old man who cut down that guy because he had vitalis in his hair, along with the derisive emphasis used by the background narrator who leaned heavily on the phrase "the good old days." Times would change. By 1982, Paul Sorvino's character would be back in style again and those mod-look guys in double-breasted jackets, flowered shirts and scarves tied around their necks would be the ones being laughed at!

"Feeling loopy" is a better term for the kid in the red jacket!

The little kids hair seems to be really dark in this episode, maybe he dyed it bronze red in later epsiodes. LOL Poor Danny.
