Old Media Companies are still stuck in the past thinking their product is their content and New Media Companies have gone at great lengths to build detail databases on their audience which they view as their product. If the advertisers are paying the Media Companies bills, then do they really care about the content or the audience - so what REALLY is a Media Company's Product?
